According to the CDC, 4.5% of US adults are e-cigarette/vape users. Our results demonstrate that 38.3% of surveyed orthopedic residents are e-cigarette/vape users, which represents a significantly greater proportion of users compared to general US adults (χ^2 = 32.0, p < 0.001).
