PTES comparison by faculty

Comments

  • HSCE is top for Dissertation supervision, Assessment and Feedback, and Teaching and learning.
  • Overall, we are 2nd and higher than MDX overall.
  • The only areas in which we are over 2% worse than MDX are resources and support , and even these are within 3%, but worth exploring.
  • HSCE Resources score is the lowest overall by faculty.

PTES comparison by department

Comments

  • Only two departments represented, which I have enquired about,
  • Assessment and feedback again good, either inline or above MDX
  • Community and engagement, EDU below MDX but SWK above, by the same amount 6% or above, perhaps some good practice to share?
  • Organisation, skill development and resources largely in line with MDX
  • Dissertation both departments above MDX by 6 or more %
  • Teaching and learning both above MDX by 4% or more.

PTES comparison by programme

Comments

  • Dissertation again a strong area with PGCE and MA social work being above MDX and SWK being at 100%
  • PGDip nursing (mental health) above MDX for all metrics aside from dissertation (suspect due to there not being one on the dip)
  • Teaching and learning strong for all either inline or above.
  • Skill development and support, areas to explore for MA social work as considerably below mdx level.
  • Overall, Organisation and management are areas to explore for PGCE and MA social work as again below MDX by 10% or more.

PTES comparison of all HSCE

Comments

  • This shows you the variance in some metrics, i.e., Community, Dissertation, and Overall,
  • Whilst others are showing more uniformity, Assessment & Feedback, Engagement, Resources, and Support.
  • It is pleasing to see our dissertation and T&L scores being some of the highest when compared to MDX and the other faculties.
