My Experience with R Markdown

So far, markdown hasn’t been too difficult, surprisingly! I appreciate how user-friendly it has been, I don’t feel like I’m getting too lost when navigating this interface. I tried to use as many of the features Danielle taught us in this Rmd document and had some fun with it haha.

The Themes

I do love customizing things. So having different pre-packaged themes is very nice. For example:

  • Paper (Which is what I am using now).
  • Cerulean.
  • Flatly.
  • Readable.
  • Journal.

If anybody reading this would like to look at all the available themes, you can click this website: R Markdown Theme Galley

More Features

Code

print("hello world!")
## [1] "hello world!"

Speaking of “Hello world” here’s a cute song actually called hello world! I thought it was fitting for this coding module.

Equations

As for equations, here is a example of an asymptotic function: \[ f(x) = 1/x \]

And funnily enough, here is another song by the same artist about asymptotic functions!

Conclusion

Thanks for reading! I hope it was enjoyable :)
