Pada bagian ini, kita akan menerapkan PCA pada dataset “Auto” yang berasal dari paket ISLR di R [24]. Dataset ini berisi informasi mengenai konsumsi bahan bakar, tenaga kuda, dan informasi lainnya untuk 392 kendaraan.

Dataset ini diambil dari perpustakaan StatLib yang dikelola oleh Universitas Carnegie Mellon. Dataset ini digunakan dalam Exposition American Statistical Association tahun 1983 [24].

Pertama, kita akan memuat dataset dari paket ISLR.

Fungsi summary() menampilkan ringkasan dataset termasuk rata-rata setiap variabel, dll.

Sebelum melakukan apa pun, kita akan membersihkan dataset agar dapat menggunakan fungsi-fungsi untuk menerapkan PCA serta memvisualisasikannya.
