The first sentence what I really liked was “You need to look for the answer within yourself, in your feelings, in your free choices”. I feel that in today’s world people are starting to underestimate their own feelings. And I think it’s a very interesting feeling when you get hit by a feeling. In my own experience, when I didn’t listen to my intuition, I felt, “Wow, that felt good, why didn’t I listen to my intuition?” I like to listen and pay attention to what my intuition is telling me because it’s a human trait that I think is impossible to decipher why we have this intuition in our head or in our heart. It could be that intuition comes from what we really want to do or what we want to be true or we have lived this life before and deep down inside we have repressed memories that come up and reappear as intuition in our body. Or it could even be that we are reborn several times and the experience of many experiences, of several life situations, sends a signal.

The next one what Yuval mentioned is related to the Bible that people lived by in the old days. “Because God said so, because the Bible said so, because the pop said so”. He linked this in the video to homosexuality which many people don’t accept. But why? Because the Bible forbids it. I feel like people always have to deal with something and most of the time it’s other people’s lives because they’re not happy in their own lives, so it shouldn’t be other people’s lives. I don’t think any algorithm will ever solve this because continuous happiness is not possible, always something might interrupt it for a while. I will never understand why it is important to others who is connected to whom. It does not occur to many people who hurt these people physically or spiritually they are also sinning and not following what the Bible says. Everything is superficial in the world and a lot of times people are just looking for a reason or an excuse to hurt others. There is good and bad in every person, it is just a matter of deciding which side of the spectrum you are more inclined to give in to and which side you can look in the mirror.

“If we only have enough data, and enough computing power, we can create external algorithms that understand humans and their feeling mutch better, than humans can understand themselves.” I think this is an interesting insight, but I see human emotions as a very complex thing. Such an algorithm might even make mental illnesses easier to cure. However, I don’t fully believe that an algorithm is needed to find out why we feel the way we do. A lot of times people just don’t dare admit to being aware of what they are feeling and suppress what is causing them to suffer inside. It would take a lot of data and in my opinion, to be as accurate as possible, data should be collected on every person living on earth because everyone is unique and no two people are the same and no two feelings are the same.

Finally, I would like to say that the world is being improved so much that the pleasure and excitement is slowly being taken out of people’s lives because everything will become so easy and we learn from mistakes and often mistakes or bad decisions lead to something good or something unforgettable. So that’s why I don’t think that it is a good thing if some algorithm make the perfect decision for us.
