Introduction

The overall flag type errors metric shows the total number and distribution of invalid cases produced by the instrument, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the laboratory’s performance over a given period. The weekly flag type errors metric, on the other hand, breaks down the invalid cases into weekly intervals, allowing for a more detailed analysis of trends and patterns in the laboratory’s performance over time.

The plots with statistics provide graphical representations of the data, allowing for easier interpretation and visualization of the laboratory’s performance. These plots assess the distribution of invalid cases by flag type, and identify areas for improvement to optimize the laboratory’s performance.

The dashboard provides valuable insights into the laboratory’s performance with regard to invalid cases produced by the instrument, allowing lab personnel to make informed decisions and take corrective actions to improve the quality of HIV viral load testing at the virology lab.
