BackGround

Energy consumption has been on the rise globally, with a significant increase in demand over the past few decades. As a result, there has been a growing concern about the impact of fossil fuel consumption on the environment, particularly in terms of greenhouse gas emissions and climate change. To address these concerns, there has been a shift towards renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.

In this storyboard, we will delve into the global energy consumption trends from 1990 to 2020, analyzing the key drivers of energy consumption and how they have changed over time. We will also explore the impact of renewable energy sources on the world’s energy mix, examining the contribution of renewable energy to the overall energy generation and consumption, and how this has varied across different regions and countries.

Through this exploration, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the global energy landscape and the transition towards a more sustainable and cleaner energy future. We will also highlight the challenges and opportunities associated with this transition, including the role of policy, technology, and innovation in shaping the future of global energy.

1. Global energy consumption over time (1990-2017):
