Agar bisa membuat titik data untuk plot, maka diperlukan menghitung eigen vectors dari matriks sigma, standar penyimpangan untuk distribusi normal bivariat. Transformasi ini menggunakan vektor eigen yang berhubungan dengan analisis komponen utama, yaitu salah satu model pembelajaran tanpa pengawasan dalam data science.

Sebagai contoh, dihasilkan titik data dari distribusi normal bivariat. Distribusi normal bivariat ditentukan oleh mean (rata-rata) dan simpangan baku, berbeda dengan distribusi normal univariat. Namun, perlu diketahui bahwa mean (rata-rata) ditentukan dengan vektor 2 dimensi dan simpangan bakunya ditentukan oleh matriks 2x2. Di bawah ini menggunakan package mvtnorm dan package matlib untuk operasi matriks.

Hal pertama yang dilakukan yaitu mengupload semua package yang dibutuhkan:

Perlu diketahui bahwa ggplot2 adalah sebuah package yang menghasilkan statistik data atau grafik, yang dikhususkan untuk visualisasi data. Untuk membuat suatu visualisasi data maka ggplot2 didasari oleh grammar atau tata bahasa khusus. Jadi, dengan adanya ggplot2 ini memudahkan untuk merancang grafik yang menggambarkan data melalui simbol, warna, bentuk, ukuran, dan ketebalan point. Memungkinkan untuk membuat grafik yang merepresentasikan data numerik dan kategorik baik univariat maupun multivariat secara simultan.

Package mvtnorm merupakan kependekan dari Multivariate Normal and t Distributions. Jadi di package ini menyediakan fungsi untuk multivariat normal dan distribusi t. Ini terutama digunakan untuk menghitung probabilitas dan menghasilkan angka acak dari distribusi multivariat. Package ini termasuk fungsi untuk menghitung kepadatan, fungsi distribusi, fungsi kuantil, dan hasil acak untuk multivariat normal dan distribusi-t. Dan tambahan, ini juga termasuk fungsi untuk menghitung rata-rata vektor, matriks korelasi, dan komponen utama dari distribusi normal multivariat.

Kode di bawah ini, menentukan rata-rata dan standar penyimpangan dengan:

Dan akhirnya, dapat menghasilkan data point dengan rmvnorm dan dikonversi ke data frame untuk menampilkan bingkai data/ proses data, jika data nya d maka bentuknya frame sedangkan str itu matriks.

Fungsi rmvnorm dalam bahasa R digunakan untuk menghasilkan sampel acak dari distribusi normal multivariat. Ini membutuhkan argumen seperti n (jumlah dari sampel yang dihasilkan), rata-rata (vektor rata-rata untuk tiap variabel), dan sigma (matriks kovarians dari variabel). Fungsi ini sangat berguna untuk menghasilkan data sintetik untuk simulasi studi atau pengujian metode statistik.

library MASS digunakan untuk memuat package MASS yang menyediakan fungsi dan kumpulan data untuk statistik matematika, termasuk alat untuk menyesuaikan dan memvisualisasikan model linear, mengananlisis multivariat, dan estimasi kepadatan (density). Beberapa dari fungsi termasuk package glm() untuk menyesuaikan model linear umum, Ida() untuk menganalisis diskriminan linear, kde2d() untuk estimasi kepadatan 2D Kernel, dan stepAIC() untuk seleksi model menggunakan Akaike Information Criterion.
