This step consists of collecting KPIS from Latin American countries in this way and in this first stage the “GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS” software intervenes, where previously we have already delimited the countries and exposed in a layer which of course is geopositioned, to this layer where each polygon corresponds to a country, attributes are generated which are the result of the KPIS surveyed, for example = Attribute that indicates the Gross Domestic Product Per Capita, another that indicates the Transparency Index, another the corruption index or ranking and thus the list goes on. This process is required so that later, through a mathematical model, we can establish the category of the analyzed country.

We already have the indices for each country, what we do at this stage is study those countries called emerging by international organizations, based on this we categorize them as emerging and assign them an indicator number that goes from 0 to 1.99, then we do the The same with those horizon countries and finally with those countries that do not qualify in either of the two categories. In other words, our internal rating is set as follows =

1-Emerging (are those countries whose aptitudes and conditions are good for investment)

2-Horizon (are those countries whose short-term future skills and conditions are established as good in the future)

3-Not qualified those that do not fall into any of the previous categories

Now it is time to establish the category of the countries that we need to know their category. For this, we carry out a mathematical model which consists of a multiple linear regression where we use countries already categorized and with their variables already processed (KPIS) to determine through the KPIS of the country under study, its categorization. Keep in mind that it is a summary of the model since several programming lines are involved that help determine the best RL model by correlation and other factors.
