How does Total GIR Missed affect player performance?
I wanted to see if GIR misses affected the the performance of a player.
From this chart we can see the highest number of top tens are correlated with a higher GIR rank, however much of the players at different ranks achived similar amounts of top ten performances.
How does Total Fairways Hit affect Number of Top Tens?
I wanted to see if Fairways misses affected the performance of a player.
From this chart we can see that there is not a clear correlation between number of top tens and fairways hit. Several players find success while hitting the fairway less often.
Does hitting Drives for 320+ Yards and having high AVG Club Head Speeds affect
hitting the fairway?
I wanted to see how hitting the ball for 320+ Yards and having high AVG Club Head Speeds would affect a golfers ability to hit the fairway.
This graph shows a clear relationship between having a faster club head speed and number of times hitting a ball over 320 yards. This graph also shows that drives that are hit over 320 yards often find the fairway.
How does missing the fairway and green affect the number
of putts made during a round?
I wanted to see how missing the fairway would affect a golfers number of 3 putts and missed greens in regulation.
This graph shows a correlation between missing a green in regulation and three putting. I added a color that shows drives into the rough which shows most three putts and missed green in regulations are correlated to missing the fairway.
Does higher percentages of fairways hit and up and downs
increase number of top ten permformances?
I wanted to see how percentage of fairways hit and number of up and downs affect a golfers amount of top ten performances.
This graph is showing a relationship between up and down % and fairway hit %, player with multiple top ten performances had higher percentages in both these categories.

How does offensive efficiency affect number of wins?
I wanted to see how important offensive efficiency was in determining the amount of wins a team would achieve.
This graph shows a clear correlation between number of wins and how efficient a team is on offense.
How does defensive efficiency affect number of wins?
I wanted to see how important defensive efficiency was in determining the amount of wins a team would achieve.
This graph shows a clear correlation between number of wins and how efficient a team is on defense.
How does Offensive Efficiency and turn over rate affect
the seed a team receives?
I wanted to see how Offensive Efficiency and Turnover Rate affected the seed in which a team earns.
This graph shows a clear correlation between Offensive Efficiency and low Turnover Rate. Using color we can see teams that made the tournament are grouped in the bottom right of the graph with high Offensive Efficiency and low turn over rates.
How does Defensive Efficiency and free throw rate affect
the seed a team receives?
I wanted to see how Defensive Efficiency and Free Throw rate affected the seed in which a team earns.
This graph shows a clear correlation between Defensive Efficiency and low Free Throw Rate Allowed. Using color we can see teams that made the tournament are grouped in the bottom left of the graph with good Defensive Efficiency and Free Throw Rate Allowed.
What does the Defensive Efficiency and Offensive Efficiency
from every seed 1-16 look like?
I wanted to compare the Defensive Efficiency and Offensive Efficiency from seeds 1-16.
Looking at this graph we can see the higher seeds tend to group themselves in the bottom right, and the lower seeds group themselves towards the middle of the chart. We can determine from this that the higher seeds have both good offensive and defensive efficiency.
