1. Introduction

This excersice is to setup a simple procedure to build landcover maps from Setntinel 2 data. The analyse will be based on two procedures, both are classified as an unsupervised classifiers. The first is the Random forest analysis, which is more complex and time consuming but is the wide used for optimal classification. The second one is the Makimum Likelyhood analysis, which is simple and fast but more realistic with linear features.

2. Uploading Libraries

Libraries needed for the current analysis.This section will load the libraries to be used in the analysis.

3. Set working directory and upload data

  1. Set up the location of the working directory and the images to be analysed. The images should be in tif extension.

4. Building the dataset and visulise the results

This section builds the raster layers and visualise the true and false composie layers.

  1. Set up the location and name of the tarining site file.
  2. Set up the location and name of the proerties to be analysed (e.g. Blickling Estate)
